With the holidays in full swing, we here at Mind(ful) Liberation Project have had our fair share of holiday mishaps and disasters. Even with the best intentions, family get-togethers can be stressful, sometimes resulting in hard feelings or harsh words being said.
Holidays make many of us feel alone because it is difficult for us to relate to other people that we feel may not understand where we are coming from, and let me tell you, family is a big sore spot for some of us!
So, during this holiday season when you may become stressed out and watching the clock for when you can make a mad dash for the door, remember that you are not alone… None of us are. We would like to offer our hands as understanding friends to you. Holidays (and all the days) are about caring, compassion, and camaraderie.
We’re here for you, just like you are here for us.
And yes, the RVA Peer Support Crisis Line is open all day, every day. Even holidays.
Safe travels, and try not to get too stressed out 🙂
